Award and Grant information

Commitee is preparing award and grant for young scientists and students. Details are shown later.

1. MWP/APMP 2014 incentive award (Travel Grant) Closed.

The MWP2014 committee will provide a free MWP/APMP registration and accommodation for students from the countries EXCEPT OECD members.
An application form should be sent to the MWP/APMP2014 Student Travel Grants Chair by July 20th, 2014 August 15th, 2014.

Those who want to receive a travel grant should send the application form. Please notice that you have to take a permission of your supervisor before your sending the application form.

Step1 : Down load the application form (Microsoft Word document) from the above link.
Step2 : Fill the application form except signatures.
Step3 : Print out it.
Step4 : Sign on the printed application form. Also ask your supervisor to sign at the supervisor's column.
Step5 : Scan the signed application form to a PDF file.
Step6 : Send the PDF file to the following addresses.
Step7 : Send your student identification (ex. scanned ID) to same addresses.

2. Young Scientist Award (YSA) Closed.

A presenter of MWP/APMP 2014, who is a student or a scientist of 35 years or younger, can apply for IEEE PHOTONICS SOCIETY JAPAN CHAPTER YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD.
Award winners will be selected by the MWP/APMP 2014 Award Committee.
An application form should be sent to the MWP/APMP 2014 Award Committee by 30 September 2014 .

Step3 : Print it.
Step4 : Sign on the printed application form.
Step5 : Scan the signed application form to make a PDF file.
Step6 : Send the PDF file with the copy of your ID to show a student or a young scientist of 35 years or younger by e-mail to the following address.
